Letter of Appeal:

The Page Valley Arts Council (PVAC) is a 501 C3 non-profit that provides and supports many County wide art and other community related activities.

Our operations are funded through grants, fundraisers, and sales from the Arts and Artisans Fine Art Gallery (Artisan Gallery), downtown Luray.

We have found that the Arts are one of the first things to be cut when folks are concerned about our economy, political climate, and other.

Sales at the Artisan Gallery have declined steadily and drastically over the past year, to the point where it is now operating at a loss, rather than as a contributor, and has severely impacted our budget.

While still seeking grants and having fundraisers, we have decided to ask for contributions from the community we serve. If you can make a tax-deductible contribution, we would be very grateful.

Also, we ask that you share our letter with others who support the arts. Please mail your contribution to:

Or stop by the Gallery to drop off check or to make a credit card or cash contribution.
